The Senior Dental Center is pleased to announce a grant award from the San Marcos Community Foundation. With these funds we purchased supplies to make same-day crowns for our patients in-house. This reduces the number of visits needed and eliminates laboratory fees for our patients. Additional grant funds supplied an Apple iPad with the American Dental Association’s Chairside Instructor App. With this technology, seniors, even those with vision challenges, can view clear graphical explanations of what is happening in their mouths and what can be done through dental treatment. Our heartfelt thanks go to the San Marcos Community Foundation as their grant ensures our North County patients receive high-quality oral healthcare tailored to their needs.
